»Saxony Day« is made possible through the commitment and dedication of the associations and clubs. The festival programme is as vibrant and colourful as the contributors are varied. As such, the festival reflects the diversity and vitality of Saxony, its associations and its citizens.

Be part of it. Bring »Saxony Day« to your hometown. Present your craft or association and help organise and put together Saxony Day as a volunteer.

Clubs, associations, institutions and other groups wanting to actively participate in »Saxony Day« should register with the current host's organisational office by March 1 of the relevant year. The appropriate forms can be requested from the organisational office or the »Saxony Day« office.

»Saxony Day« can be held in any Saxon city, including your hometown. The only basic requirement is that the city has the infrastructure to handle the onslaught of thousands of revellers.

Potential »Saxony Say« hos towns are asked to apply three years in advance, and the call for tenders is published in the December issue of the official gazette. The host town is then chosen by the »Saxony Day« board of trustees at least two years before the event.
